Asian markets retreat after rebounding AI stocks send the S&P 500 to brink of a new record
Asian shares have retreated despite a rebound for AI stocks that lifted stocks on Wall Street. The Kospi in South Korea plunged nearly 8% and Tokyo's Nikkei lost almost 2%.
