Traffic woes in North Fort Myers as Pondella Road detour begins

Traffic detours are now in effect at one of North Fort Myers' busiest intersections. The Florida Department of Transportation has closed the eastbound right-turn lanes from Pondella Road onto southbound North Tamiami Trail. Drivers are being rerouted onto River Road and Cabana Avenue through December.
