UNESCO designates 26 new biosphere reserves amid biodiversity challenges and climate change

The U.N. cultural agency UNESCO has designated 26 new biosphere reserves. Scientists, residents and officials cooperate in the reserves to preserve important areas of ecological biodiversity and boost the economy.
