Fire hydrants scarce where Golden Gate Estates home caught fire

A devastating fire tore through a home in Golden Gate on Monday, displacing a family of nine, and hampering firefighters' efforts to extinguish the flames due to an inadequate water supply, according to a spokesperson with the North Collier Fire Control Rescue District.
